  1. General Information

This privacy policy informs you about the nature, scope, and purpose of the processing of personal data within the context of our online services and the associated websites, functions, and content (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Website”).

The terms used (e.g., “personal data” or “processing”) are based on the definitions in Article 4 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

  1. Nature and Purpose of Processing

Our website is a static website. This means that it has no database and does not itself store any data from you, apart from the server log files and the integrated services described below.

3.1 Provision of the Website (Hosting)

In order to display our website, certain information is automatically stored in so-called server log files with each access. This is technically necessary.

Data processed: IP address, date and time of access, name of the accessed file, amount of data transferred, notification of successful access, browser type and version, user’s operating system (user agent), the previously visited page (referrer URL).

Purpose: To ensure a smooth connection and convenient use of the website, to evaluate system security and stability.

Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in the functional and secure provision of the website).

3.2 Hosting

This website is operated by us on our own server in Germany. It is not hosted by an external provider, and no data is transferred to third countries.

  1. Integrated Third-Party Services

We integrate third-party services into our website that are necessary for correct display or functionality.

4.1 Local Fonts and CSS

We use locally hosted fonts and CSS files (e.g., Blowfish Theme) and no external Google Fonts or CDN services for basic elements. Therefore, no data is transferred to external service providers solely for loading the fonts.

4.2 OpenStreetMap (OSM)

We use the OpenStreetMap iFrame embed code to display map content.

Data processed: When the map is loaded, your IP address is transmitted to the servers of the OpenStreetMap Foundation (OSMF). The OSMF processes this data for map display and may use it for abuse detection.

Service provider: OpenStreetMap Foundation, St John’s Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB4 0WS, United Kingdom.

4.3 Ticket sales (pretix)

For ticket sales we embed the ticketing system pretix (open-source software). We operate it ourselves on our own server in Germany (tickets.calma-saunagarten.de). When the ticket widget is loaded, your IP address is transmitted to this server.

Data processed: When you place an order, your name, email address, the tickets ordered and payment information; in addition technically necessary cookies (cart/session) and server log files.

Purpose: Processing of ticket sales and delivery of tickets.

Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (performance of a contract) and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR for technical operation. Tax-law retention obligations (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR) remain unaffected.

Payment providers: Will be named in the checkout as soon as an online payment option is offered.

4.4 Web analytics (Matomo)

To analyse how the website is used, we use the open-source software Matomo. It runs on our own server in Germany (stats.saunahoch13.de); no data is passed on to third parties.

Data processed: Page visited, referrer, browser and device type, screen resolution, approximate location (country/region) and time of the visit. The IP address is shortened (anonymised) before storage.

Ticket shop: Matomo is also used in the ticket shop (tickets.calma-saunagarten.de). There we additionally record which tickets are added to the cart and, for an order, the order number, the tickets purchased and the amount. Name, email address and payment details are not transmitted to Matomo. No measurement takes place on the payment pages.

Cookies: No cookies are set and no information is stored on your device. Visitors are not recognised across multiple visits.

Purpose: Improving our offering and measuring reach.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in designing the website to meet demand).

Objection: If your browser sends "Do Not Track", your visit is not counted. You can also object to the analysis at any time by email to hallo@calma-saunagarten.de.

You have the right to obtain information about the data we have stored about you at any time, as well as the right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing, and data portability. Please contact the data controller named above for this purpose.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the GDPR.
